The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Madrid organized a visit of IDOM engineering company’s representatives to Uzbekistan.
The delegation visited Navoi and held talks in the Khokimiyat of Navoi region, Navoi Free Economic Zone and with businesspeople of the region. The purpose of the meetings is to establish bilateral cooperation and implement joint projects in Uzbekistan.
In Samarkand, the guests held talks with the regional authorities, became familiar with the investment and economic potential of Samarkand region, the progress of implementation of Samarkand city project and other ongoing projects in urban planning.
Following the talks, an agreement was reached on studying the possibility of IDOM’s participation in the design of construction of industrial facilities in Navoi region, implementation of urban planning projects in Samarkand within the framework of preparing Samarkand for the Summit of the SCO Heads of States in 2022.
