He noted that all measures are taken to ensure security of citizens and international observers on the election day. More than 53 thousand law enforcement officers were involved for this purpose.
From the early morning, more than 600 patrol officers have taken control of roads leading to polling stations to ensure safety.
Since the opening of polling stations, there have been no complaints of serious violations. One offence is recorded in Kuva district of Fergana region. A relative of the candidate in the district council agitated voters to vote for him.
According to the legislation, campaigning the day before the elections and directly on the election day is prohibited.
The Minister of Internal Affairs reported on implementation of measures against the offender.
