On January 21, 2020, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia Ravshan Usmanov visited the production facilities of Percetakan Nasional Malaysia Berhad (PNMB) and held talks with its Managing Director, Mohamad Abdullah, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

Issues of attracting a Malaysian company to implement an investment project on organizing the production of plastic bank and ID cards in the country by attracting the appropriate equipment from the Malaysian side were discussed at the meeting.

Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of PNMB representatives to Uzbekistan in March this year to conduct negotiations with the leadership of relevant ministries and agencies of the country in order to discuss the details of the above project implementation.
