President's award encourages entrepreneurs to high frontiers

Tashkent hosted the solemn ceremony of awarding winners of the republican stage of Tashabbus 2019 competition for the prize of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It was attended by winners of Karakalpakstan, regional and Tashkent city stages of the competition, responsible employees of a number of ministries and agencies, general public, as well as diplomatic corps in Uzbekistan.
Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Adkham Ikramov and others noted that economic reforms implemented in Uzbekistan are creating wide opportunities for entrepreneurs. Tashabbus 2019 traditional competition held with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Council of Farmers, Dehkan Farms and Owners of Household Lands, Hunarmand Association, Uzbekistan Youth Union, various ministries and agencies is important in this sense.
Almost 7 thousand business entities attended district and city stages of the competition. And 35 percent of them are women. 69 participants attended the republican stage of the competition.
Winners in such nominations as “Best entrepreneur of the year in industrial sector”, “Best entrepreneur of the year in service sector”, “Best young entrepreneur of the year”, “Best craftsman of the year”, “Best farmer of the year” were identified at the event.
The first place winners were awarded with Presidential gift – Spark car, owners of second and third places received monetary rewards in the amount of 20 and 15 million UZS. Winners in special nominations also received valuable gifts.
