On the upcoming Meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government
The meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government will be held on May 29, 2020, via videoconference.
On May 29, 2020, within the framework of the chairmanship of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government will be held via videoconference.
The meeting will be chaired by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, which will also be attended by the Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan – Ali Asadov, Belarus – Sergei Rumas, Kazakhstan – Askar Mamin, Moldova – Ion Chicu, Russia – Mikhail Mishustin, Tajikistan – Kohir Rasulzoda, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Erkin Asrandiev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Chairman of the Executive Committee – CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev.
The agenda of the meeting includes 15 issues of interaction between the CIS member states in various fields.
During the talks, the participants will exchange views on relevant areas of cooperation in the economic, transport and logistics, energy, cultural, humanitarian, and other fields, as well as discuss joint efforts against the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection.
