Belgorod National Research University delegation led by Rector, professor Oleg Polukhin visited the National University of Uzbekistan.

23 thousand students from 92 countries, including 400 students from Uzbekistan study at BNRU. The university sees its mission in solving international and national research problems, training competitive personnel. The university has the status of an autonomous university with the right to defend dissertations within 20 specialized councils in 13 branches of science.

Rector of BNRU, professor O. Polukhin expressed great interest in implementation of joint research projects with NUU in biotechnology, genetics and breeding, chemistry, digital technologies in agricultural sector.

Following the negotiations, an Agreement of Cooperation was signed between NUU and BNRU.
