Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Women's Committee E. Basitkhanova noted that a support system for women, girls and young families is created in the country.

The parties agreed to establish a mutual exchange of experience.

Regional Director and Resident Representative for Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Christoph Mohr spoke about activities of the Foundation and noted the importance of establishing cooperation with Uzbekistan Women's Committee in establishing activities on supporting women.

Elmira Basitkhanova noted that she is glad to see Friedrich Ebert Foundation as a partner in ensuring women’s rights and interests in Uzbekistan and increasing their socio-political activity.
