Tashkent hosted a meeting of the leadership of the khokimiyat and the tax inspectorate of Yunusabad district with representatives of the delegation of the Federal Tax Service led by Doctor of Economics, Professor Nikolai Volovich (Russia).

According to the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, following the meeting, it was decided to conduct a pilot project on taxation of non-residential property in Yunusabad district of Tashkent city. The experiment will be held in accordance with the concept being developed to improve the taxation of real estate in Uzbekistan.

This concept is being created within the framework of the Agreement between the ministries of finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation on provision of technical assistance to the Republic of Uzbekistan in order to develop a tax administration system.

Based on the results of the pilot project, a forecast option for economic efficiency of the Concept for improving real estate taxation in Uzbekistan will be determined.
