Namangan, Sverdlovsk enter a new stage of friendly relations
A delegation led by the Governor of Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation, Yevgeny Kuyvashev, arrived in Namangan region on an official visit.
The guests met with the Khokim of Namangan region H. Bozorov, exchanged views on successful conduction of negotiations, as well as on the agreements and contracts planned for signing.
At the meeting, it was noted that close cooperation was established between Namangan region and various regions of Russia in trade, economic, cultural, scientific, educational spheres, in sports and healthcare. In 2017, 23 enterprises operated in the region with participation of Russian investments, now the number of such entities has reached 47, and for ten months of the current year the trade turnover amounted to 165 million USD.
Currently, projects are being developed between Namangan and Sverdlovsk regions in such areas as logistics, agricultural processing, pharmaceuticals, education, healthcare, tourism, and these projects will be implemented in a short time. This year, a joint faculty was opened at Namangan State University together with Ural State Medical University, which showed that our regions can work on such projects.
Following the meeting and negotiations, the sides agreed on implementation of a roadmap for development of cooperation between the khokimiyat of Namangan region and JSC CIT Terminal. Agreements were signed on provision of medical services to the population with JSC Family Medicine Center, and on cooperation between the main construction department of Namangan region and the Association of construction industry enterprises of Sverdlovsk region, CJSC Sverdlov Electro Group.
Agreements were also signed on cooperation between Namangan and Sverdlovsk regions in trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and other fields.
The guests got acquainted with the exhibition of light industry products, pharmaceutical industry, agriculture, construction and other industries, organized at Pakhlavon sports complex in Namangan, talked with representatives of business entities.
