In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers from March 4, 2016, Month of Improvement and Greenery Planting began in our country.

As part of the Month of Improvement and Greenery Planting, the Ecology Action held at the Culture and Recreation Park named after Abdulla Kadiri.

The event, organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Nature Protection, was attended by workers of this committee, artists, youth, and public representatives. In the framework of the Ecology Action, seedlings of fruit and decorative trees were planted in the park.

‘Our park covers twenty-two hectares,’ said the deputy director of the park Nodir Muhammadjonov. ‘After the renovation, conducted in recent years, separate areas had been designated for each region. It serves as a demonstration of varied culture of our people, bringing to the consciousness of the youth our national values, development of ecological tourism. Month of Improvement and Greenery Planting will contribute to strengthening the beauty of our park.’

According to the Tashkent City Committee for Nature Protection, it will be planted more than three hundred thousand seedlings of trees, shrubs and flowers in mahallas, in the squares and streets of the capital, areas of apartment buildings in March.
