Consistent reforms being implemented in this country’s health care system for protecting the population’s health, strengthening the material-technical bases of medical establishments and improving the quality and effectiveness of medical services are producing great results.
A Presidential decree dated 16 March 2017 “On measures to further improve emergency medical services” is an important guidance document in this sphere.
Within the framework of the implementation of this document, the material-technical bases of the emergency medical services departments of distant areas are being strengthened, and they are being provided gradually with modern ambulance vehicles.
“Keeping people healthy and improving the quality of the medical services being provided are important tasks. Certainly, here the material-technical bases’ firmness is of special significance,” says Odiljon Umarov, the chief of the health care directorate of the region.
Such a modern vehicle was also provided for the “Mindon” section of the Chimyon emergency medical aid department in Farghona District.
