Delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan was received by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Yevdochenko, in Minsk.

On November 13, 2019, delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan was received by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Yevdochenko, in Minsk.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, issues of strengthening Uzbekistan – Belarus cooperation in the information sphere in the context of state interaction and the dynamic development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in different areas were discussed.

On the same day, the first round of inter-MFA consultations on information support of foreign policy and working with the media took place. It was attended by the delegation of Belarus led by the head of Department of Information and Digital Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anatoly Glaz.

Views were exchanged on the issues of information support for foreign policy measures, interaction with foreign media, accreditation of journalists, the use of digital diplomacy mechanisms, and coordination of information work of foreign institutions on social networks.

An agreement was reached on holding the next round of consultations in Tashkent in 2020.
