At the meeting with the Member of the House of Lords of the UK Parliament John Desmond Waverley, issues of establishing cooperation between businessmen of the two countries, as well as joint events with participation of business circles of Uzbekistan and the UK, were noted.

During the negotiations with the Chair of the Committee on Human Rights, Head of the inter-parliamentary group for cooperation with Uzbekistan in the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, Valerijus Simulik, the parties discussed further expansion of cooperation in trade, economy, investment, transport, and information technology.
