Austrian parliamentarians noted with satisfaction the achieved high level of cooperation between the countries, the dynamically developing interaction between the parliaments of Austria and Uzbekistan.

K. Bader expressed his strong interest in continuing to strengthen inter-parliamentary ties, which, in his opinion, should contribute to further expansion of trade-economic, financial-investment, cultural-humanitarian cooperation between Uzbekistan and Austria.

The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council Reinhold Lopatka, welcoming the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan, noted that he had decided to take part in monitoring the country’s parliamentary elections as part of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Mission.
