Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to the Benelux countries Dilyor Khakimov met with the Secretary General of the World Customs Organization (WCO), Kunio Mikuriya, in Brussels.

On January 27, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to the Benelux countries Dilyor Khakimov met with the Secretary General of the World Customs Organization (WCO), Kunio Mikuriya, in Brussels.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and WCO, including plans for the short and long term.

Following the meeting, WCO Secretary General expressed readiness to support Uzbekistan in implementing new initiatives aimed at strengthening the institutional capacity of Uzbekistan’s customs service, including through organization of workshops in Tashkent.
