First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Nematov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Yazguly Mamedov.

On January 10, 2020, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Nematov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Yazguly Mamedov.

The implementation of the agreements reached during regular contacts between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was considered, Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan relations in 2019 were summed up.

The parties noted with satisfaction the dynamic nature of bilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment, transport and communications, tourism, cultural, humanitarian and other fields and confirmed their interest in further developing cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

The parties also exchanged views on the schedule and agenda for joint events in 2020 at the highest and other levels.
