The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov has met with the Diplomatic Adviser to the President of the Italian Republic, Ambassador Emanuela D'Alessandro, in Rome.

On December 12, 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Diplomatic Adviser to the President of the Italian Republic, Ambassador Emanuela D'Alessandro, in Rome.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, priorities for further development of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Italy were discussed in the context of preparations for the upcoming contacts at the highest level.

It was emphasized that Uzbekistan – Italy summit will allow resuming a direct political dialogue between the leaders of the two countries and giving a new impetus to relations in all areas of mutual interest.

Views were exchanged on specific proposals to strengthen cooperation in the fields of politics, economics, investment, science, education and cultural exchanges.
