On October 24-30, 2018, Nukus hosted a regular meeting of Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan Joint Intergovernmental Commission working groups on delimitation and demarcation of the State border between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

On October 24-30, 2018, Nukus hosted a regular meeting of Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan Joint Intergovernmental Commission working groups on delimitation and demarcation of the State border between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, at the meeting, the sides considered the results of joint field topographic-geodetic activities in some areas of Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan state border, as well as agreed on further joint field work.

The meeting was held in a friendship and mutual understanding atmosphere.

Following the negotiations, a protocol was signed.
