Kyzylorda will host the 16th international competitions of professional skill among the personnel of the electric power industry of the CIS countries.

On September 14-25, 2019, Kyzylorda will host the 16th international competitions of professional skill among the personnel of the electric power industry of the CIS countries. Uzbekistan’s JSC Regional Power Grids is among the participants.

The main goals and objectives of the competition are to increase and evaluate the level of professional training of personnel for servicing high-voltage lines of 110 kV and above the national energy systems of the CIS member states, to improve work safety culture, personnel development, quality of work and safety when servicing 110 kV OHLs and higher, reduction of injuries, exchange of best practices in the operation of equipment and conducting repair work on overhead power lines, strengthening the traditional professional ties of power engineers of participating states of the competition.
