The University of World Economy and Diplomacy has opened Japan Analytical Research Center.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Higher and Secondary Special Education, Innovative Development, the Academy of Sciences, Uzbekistan Youth Union, the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Uzbekistan – Japan Friendship Society, as well as university professors and students.

Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Youth, Science, Education, Health and Sports, Rector of the University Abdujabbor Abduvokhidov, Charge d'affaires ad interim of Japan Atsushi Suda noted that the center’s activity focused on further strengthening and comprehensive study of Uzbekistan – Japan relations in all areas.

The center will provide opportunity to study rich history, ancient traditions, national values of Japan preserved for centuries, and the experience of modernizing the country. 

The center will contribute to increase the scientific potential and expand the capabilities of the university, to comprehensively improve the quality of education.
