Inventions received international recognition
South Korea hosted International Exhibition-Forum of Women Inventors KIWIE 2018, from June 28 to July 3.
The international exhibition is held annually to demonstrate and promote achievements of women in the field of science and technology, their experience and inventions.
About 520 women from more than 30 countries took part at the exhibition this year with their achievements in engineering, technology, medicine, food production, light and chemical industry, innovative developments and other areas.
At the initiative and with the assistance of the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan, the scientists of Uzbekistan participated at the exhibition for the first time, and their scientific achievements were internationally recognized.
The model of professor Karima Norkulova “Hammer mill” won the Grand Prize in direction of food industry. Her inventions “Drying plant” and “Method of drying tubers” were awarded a silver medal.
The work of another researcher, PhD Malokhat Ilkhomova, was awarded a silver medal for the model “Preventive insole for children’s shoes”, and bronze medal for an industrial design “Shoes for a girl”.
Invention of professor Parakhat Matyakubova “Heat-moist measurer of friable substances” was awarded a silver medal.
