Tashkent hosted an international symposium on “Multidisciplinary approach in treatment of malignant tumors”.

On December 13, Tashkent hosted an international symposium on “Multidisciplinary approach in treatment of malignant tumors”.

Specialists in pathology, oncology, hematology, chemotherapy, medical workers, laboratory workers from various medical institutions, and regional departments of the center attended the symposium. Leading experts from Russia, Germany, Turkey, India and Kazakhstan were invited to address the event.

Signs of cancer can be detected using computed tomography and other latest technologies. In the process of diagnosing with the help of modern equipment, it is possible to identify various features associated with development of tumor, and appointment of appropriate treatment.

Reports were heard on the diagnosis and treatment of cancer of the lungs, mammary glands, malignant tumors in soft tissues.

Debates were organized in such relevant areas as the main morphological factors associated with cancer, the types of modern drugs against tumors, tactical methods of treating cancer, a modern approach to diagnosis, the creation of systemic and local immunity against the disease, and the importance of genetic research in treatment of malignant tumors.
