A number of events have taken place within the framework of the visit of the Federal President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier to Uzbekistan. 

Presentation on holding Central Asian Radiation Oncology Congress CARO 2019 was held within the framework of these events.

The event, organized by the Ministry of Health together with OPASCA GOS Central Asia, was attended by domestic and foreign experts, representatives of the sphere.

Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan Elmira Basitkhanova, CEO of OPASCA and OPASCA German Oncology Solutions, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Alexey Sverdlov and others noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany creates great opportunities for development of medical sphere at the level of time requirements, including in radiation therapy.

– CARO 2019 Central Asian Radiation Oncology Congress, which will be held on September 27-29 this year is aimed at implementation of such reforms, – says CEO of OPASCA and OPASCA German Oncology Solutions Alexey Sverdlov. – Participants of the congress will make reports on prospects of modern radiation therapy, foreign experience, as well as search for solutions to problems in this area in Central Asia. At today's event, we held a presentation on main objectives of this congress.
