Holiday gift from childrenIn Tashkent, events are taking place on the slogan “My love and devotion to you, my native Uzbekistan”, devoted to the greatest and dearest holiday – the 26th anniversary of the independence of the Motherland.
In the capital city’s “Dostlik [friendship]” park of culture and recreation, the “Barkamol Avlod [harmoniously developed generation]” children’s centres of Yakkasaroy and Shayhontohur districts have arranged an open-door event.
As part of the event, an exhibition of works by children of the “Barkamol Avlod” children’s centres has taken place.
The “Barkamol Avlod” children’s centres set up in accordance with a resolution dated 28 February 2011 by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to further improve the system of extra-curricular education” serve to make children’s leisure time meaningful, to increase their knowledge and to help them learn languages and professions.
“Clubs set up at our centre play an important role in raising the creative potential of children. Therefore more and more boys and girls express their interest in these clubs. Our trainees actively participate in republican and international contests and festivals and achieve high results,” says Dildora Yahyoyeva, the director of the “Barkamol Avlod” children’s centre of Yakkasaroy district.
