Guarantee of reforms’ effectiveness

In Yangiyol District of Tashkent Region, an event has taken place on the essence and significance, goals and tasks of the Action Strategy on five priority areas of the development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the years 2017-2021, put forward by the country’s President.

The event arranged by the regional council of the Adolat social-democratic party of Uzbekistan was attended by deputies of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis (parliament) of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the regional council of people’s deputies, active people of neighbourhoods, teachers and students.

At the event on the subject of “The Action Strategy – an important factor in reforms in the social sphere”, it was noted that the Action Strategy would serve to further raise the effectiveness of reforms and help the comprehensive and rapid development of the state and the modernization and liberalization of all the spheres of society.

“On the basis of the theme of the event and proposals from its participants, a closer attention was paid to tasks specified in the Action Strategy’s fourth area that is the development of the social sphere. This area envisages the implementation of measures to raise the employment rate, to improve the system of people’s social security and health care, to develop and modernize the road-transport, engineering, communications and social infrastructure, to improve the provision of electricity and gas for the population, to reform the health care system, to ensure the affordability of pre-school day care education and to develop and raise the quality of general secondary education, secondary special and higher education,” says U.Shoumarov, the chairman of the regional council of the party.

Answers were given to participants’ questions about the theme. There was an exchange of opinions on the wider public’s active participation in the propagation of the goals and tasks, the essence and significance of the Action Strategy.
