The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan hosted a meeting with the Vice-Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan Mabito Yoshida.

At the meeting, issues of implementation of promising projects in information and communication technologies were discussed.

In accordance with the previously reached agreements, the Japanese side expressed its readiness to make every effort to give an additional impetus to the intensification of Uzbekistan – Japan relations in this direction.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue the study of the visit of the delegation led by the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan to Uzbekistan as the situation with the coronavirus improves, as well as to organize a videoconference with participation of Japanese businesspeople to present specific project proposals for possible implementation in Uzbekistan.
