At the event, organized by the Committee on Budget and Economic Reforms of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, participants were informed about the essence and significance of changes provided for in the Law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020” and the draft Tax Code.

Senator Odiljon Iminov provided information on innovations and changes in the state budget and tax policy.

More than 100 proposals were forwarded by deputies and members of the working group in the process of preparing the Law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020”. Based on them, 42 amendments were introduced to the Article 17 of the law, additions were introduced to article 4, and 2 articles were completely excluded. As a result, the law has been improved based on the requirements of the time.
