“In our region, active preparations were carried out for the elections to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and local Councils. 17 constituencies for conducting elections to the lower house of parliament, 60 constituencies for conducting elections to the regional Council, 567 constituencies for conducting elections to the city and district Councils, as well as 1051 polling stations are created. 2 million 333 thousand 14 voters, who today exercise their constitutional rights, are registered in the region”, says Erkinjon Nuraliyev, Chairman of the Regional Election Commission.

Fergana citizens are taking an active part in the elections organized in accordance with the new Electoral Code. All necessary measures have been taken to conduct elections at a high organizational level.

Polling stations are equipped in accordance with certain requirements. All conditions and amenities are created for voters.

Separate seats have been allocated for observers, authorized representatives of political parties, and journalists.
