The regional workshop, organized by the Intellectual Property Agency under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), was devoted to the study of unique experience in intellectual property strategy.

The regional workshop, organized by the Intellectual Property Agency under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), was devoted to the study of unique experience in intellectual property strategy.

Within the framework of the workshop, deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the Ministry of Innovative Development, the State Customs Committee, the judiciary, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, WIPO experts, specialists from government bodies in the field of intellectual property of the United Kingdom, Poland and more than 10 countries exchanged opinions on the issues of ensuring the protection of intellectual property, improving the system of combating the spread of counterfeit products.

Methods for creating a strategy in the field of intellectual property were also discussed at the workshop. Special attention was paid to the content of reforms in intellectual property in Uzbekistan.

Issues of international cooperation in development of the national intellectual property strategy were considered.
