Media representatives studied the situation with advertising on the streets of Samarkand.

Some businesspeople place advertisements on the walls of apartment buildings, near traffic lights and in other prohibited areas. In addition, most of the advertising does not meet the requirements of the Law “On the state language”. There are cases of violation of the law.

“Until recently, the city had a lot of illegal outdoor advertising. This year, a special commission has been created, which finds areas where advertising is placed in violation of the law. We are eliminating illegal activities. We are not against entrepreneurs promoting their products, but everything must be legal”, says First Deputy Khokim of Samarkand, Akram Yegamov.
