European Union launches five projects in Uzbekistan
New projects in human rights, democracy and civil society development has been launched in Tashkent on March 6.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Yuksalish National Movement with the assistance of the Center for Civil Society Development.
It was attended by experts of grant projects, representatives of state, public, international organizations and mass media.
Representative of the Ministry of Justice Avazbek Madaminov noted that Uzbekistan focuses on protecting the interests of socially needy segments of the population, in particular women and youth. In this process, the activity, potential, and capabilities of NGOs increase.
At the event, project executors and partners were provided with information about main requirements for drawing up the contract, communication activities during the project implementation and informing the public.
