Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Jakarta held a meeting at the Center for Political Studies of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences.

Issues of ensuring and strengthening regional and global security were discussed at the meeting. In particular, the Indonesian side was familiarized with the policy of Uzbekistan on countering extremism and terrorism within the framework of a special resolution of the UN General Assembly on Enlightenment and Religious Tolerance.

Participants of the event also considered the prospects for establishing cooperation of the Center for Political Studies of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences with Uzbekistan’s research centers.
