Uzbekistan delegation, which included representatives of education, innovative healthcare, sports medicine and pharmaceuticals visited Jiangsu province on the eve of the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China.

Uzbekistan delegation, which included representatives of education, innovative healthcare, sports medicine and pharmaceuticals visited Jiangsu province on the eve of the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China.

The visit was organized by Uzbekistan – China Trade Association within the framework of Belt and Road initiative at the invitation of the People's Government of Jiangsu Province of the People's Republic of China.

During the trip, the delegation became familiar with achievements of their colleagues, discussed possible ways to implement the Chinese experience in development of social medicine based on traditional methods of treatment, creation of an educational base in Uzbekistan, promotion and supporting Olympic athletes’ health, as well as creation of a cluster for production of medicines based on natural and organic components.

Following the discussions and negotiations, the parties signed a number of agreements and contracts. Agreements were signed between Tashkent Regional Branch of National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Republican Scientific-Practical Center of Sports Medicine under the National Olympic Committee and Jiangsu Collaborative Innovation Center of Chinese Medicinal Resources Industrialization (NJUCM). 

It is expected to conduct researches and develop medicines based on plant raw materials, implementation of Chinese know-how in sports medicine, rehabilitation and nutrition.
