Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah has arrived in Uzbekistan to attend the meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Abdukhakimov and other officials met the distinguished guest at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov.

Current issues on the agenda of the SCO Council of Heads of Government, as well as prospects for further strengthening and developing cooperation within the organization will be discussed at the prestigious event to be held on November 1-2, in Tashkent.

At the meeting, heads of governments will also exchange views on pressing issues of the international and regional agenda.

Following the talks, it is expected to sign documents aimed at further expanding cooperation within the SCO.
