Representatives of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission emphasized their willingness to assist in promoting competitive and efficient futures markets and putting into practice the mechanisms to protect investors from manipulation and abuse in trading practice.

At the meeting, a range of issues was identified on which it is necessary to concentrate attention in the course of mutual cooperation. Views were exchanged on development of relevant legislative acts and implementation of parliamentary control over compliance with existing normative-legal documents.
