Candidates for award being identifiedThe Tashkent city phase of the contest for the state award named after Zulfiya has started.
An event has been held on this occasion. It was noted at the event that in this country special attention was paid to the provision of care for women, the raising of their role in society and especially to the provision of support for talented girls so that they could realize their potential.
“18 thousand girls from the capital city’s educational establishments and vocational colleges, academic lyceums and general education schools and also boarding schools and children’s homes took part in the initial stages of the contest this year. This shows that interest among girls in participating in the contest is growing,” says a member of the contest’s commission, professor of the university of world economics and diplomacy, Etiborhon Sultonova.
At the Tashkent city phase of the contest, 59 participants will display their abilities in such areas as literature, art, science, education and culture. Its winners will obtain the right to participate in the republican phase of the contest.
