The Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the UNODC Regional Office for Central Asia, Uzbekistan Youth Union organized a conference on “Preventing crime among young people”.

The Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the UNODC Regional Office for Central Asia, Uzbekistan Youth Union organized a conference on “Preventing crime among young people”.

This simulation conference, organized for the first time for grades 8-11 schoolchildren, was held with the support of the Doha Declaration Global Programme, which aims to support the legal culture.

More than three thousand schoolchildren expressed a desire to participate in the conference, which was held in English. 70 of them became participants – the best in the English language, law, statehood foundations.

At the conference, such topics as “Preventing crime among young people”, “Forming effective methods for preventing crimes that have a significant impact on the environment”, “The role of civil society in the fight against corruption” were discussed in detail.
