A variety of spiritual-educational events and meetings devoted to the Day of Defenders of the Motherland held in Khorezm region.

A video conference titled “My son is the Defender of the Motherland”, organized by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with administrations of Khorezm and Kashkadarya regions, was attended by the soldiers who perform their civic duty, and their parents.

During the video conference, the soldiers, who perform their civic duty, share with their parents about life in the military unit, and created conditions there. They were also informed about the latest news of the native villages and mahallas, members of their family, friends and relatives.

At the event, were solemnly read out thankfulness letters of the commanders of military units to the parents whose sons pass military service exemplary. Mothers were presented with souvenirs.

At the event was demonstrated a film about the life of soldiers. The songs performed by artists about the homeland, mothers, bravery and courage gave the audience a festive mood.
