A Youth Festival dedicated to the Day of Defenders of the Motherland held in Tashkent.

Under the leadership of President Islam Karimov special attention is given to educating the younger generation in the spirit of love for the motherland and devotion to the ideas of independence, stimulate the desire of young people to contribute to the noble work to ensure a peaceful and tranquil life of the people and prosperity of the country.

The Youth Festival became the practical embodiment of this work, organized by the ministries of Defense, Internal Affairs, Emergency Situations, Culture and Sport Affairs, the National Security Service of Uzbekistan, variety arts association “Uzbeknavo” and the Public Youth Movement “Kamolot”.

At the event, the military personnel presented demonstrations, reflecting prevailing in our country, peace and quiet, prosperous life, emphasizing their importance and merits of soldiers and officers, day and night, standing guard over the Motherland.

The event was solemnly awarded the winners of the competition “The Courageous Protect Homeland”.
