Latvia announces additional educational grants to Uzbekistan
Latvia's State Education Development Agency has announced the results of the study of applications for state scholarships for training and research in Latvian higher education institutions and research centers.
The State Education Development Agency under the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia has announced the results of the study of applications for state scholarships for training and research in Latvian higher education institutions and research centers.
It was decided to allocate 11 grants to Uzbekistan for 2020/2021 academic year.
Scholars will study at leading Latvian universities such as Riga Stradins University, University of Latvia and Riga Technical University.
According to the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Kadambay Sultanov, the issue of signing Uzbekistan – Latvia Intergovernmental Agreement on Science and Education is currently being worked out.
