Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan exchanged congratulatory messages
On October 31, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev exchanged congratulatory messages on a significant date in the history of bilateral relations – the 20th anniversary of Eternal Friendship Treaty signed between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In his message, the President of Uzbekistan, sincerely congratulating the brotherly people of Kazakhstan, noted that this document consolidated the indestructibility of centuries-old bonds of friendship, fraternity and good neighborliness between the two countries and people, which are linked by common history, spiritual and cultural heritage.

It was noted that signing of Strategic Partnership Agreement and Joint Declaration on further deepening strategic partnership and strengthening good neighborliness became a new milestone on consistent development of cooperation.

Cultural-humanitarian and business events held this year within the framework of the Year of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan are bright example of rapprochement of people of the two countries.

It was noted with satisfaction that the two countries are committed to strengthening an atmosphere of trust, openness and mutual support, ensuring peace, stability and sustainable development in Central Asia.

The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in his message expressed heartfelt congratulations and warm wishes on the 20th anniversary of Eternal Friendship Treaty.

It was emphasized that the Treaty defined contemporary vector and made a significant contribution to development of bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation at the international level, became the foundation of this strategic partnership of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, based on mutual trust and friendship.

It was noted that today both countries, relying on enduring values and inexhaustible potential, have brought bilateral cooperation to a new level and continue to form a solid foundation aimed at consolidating full-format cooperation in the region. 
 
Conviction was expressed that joint activities and friendship, giving a special impetus to cooperation between the two countries, will receive their further consistent development for the benefit of people of the two countries.

On the significant date, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan exchanged wishes for peace, prosperity and progress.
