On July 24, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated the leader of Uzbekistan on his birthday, wishing wellbeing and prosperity to all the multinational people of Uzbekistan.

Heads of states noted with deep satisfaction the consistent strengthening of strategic partnerships and multifaceted cooperation between the two fraternal countries.

Views were exchanged on current issues of the bilateral agenda, international and regional policy.

Thanking for the sincere congratulations, the President of Uzbekistan wished the President of Turkmenistan success in hosting the First Caspian Economic Forum, to be held in early August this year in Avaza National Tourist Zone.
