President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has become familiar with the activities of Prof-Milk JV in Bektemir district.

Processing meat and dairy products along with animal husbandry is developing comprehensively in Uzbekistan. In particular, there are more than 600 milk processing enterprises. Their products are delivered to the population and exported.

This month, Prof-Milk JV with a project cost of $3 million started operating in Bektemir district. It is equipped with modern technologies in partnership with Swiss Tanotrade Company and Toshelektroapparat PE. It employs 50 people.

The company manufactures 1.5 thousand tons of products per year and produces about 10 types of cheese. This year, it is planned to establish the production of processed cheese.

President has become familiar with the technological process of this JV. Instructions have been given regarding the stable supply of raw materials to the enterprise, expansion of product range and development of new markets.

Presentation of BARTEC TRADE’s project for production of import-substituting spare parts was also held here.
