The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has departed for Navoi region to become familiar with socio-economic development of the region, the execution of instructions, identify new promising areas.

On March 12, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Navoi region to become familiar with socio-economic development of the region, the execution of instructions, identify new promising areas.

The Head of the state, as is known, regularly visits the country’s regions, pays constant attention to expanding the potential of economic sectors and improving the wellbeing of the population. Large-scale activities are carried out in Navoi as a result of measures taken following the results of trips to the region in 2017 and 2018.

This time, it is planned to become acquainted with new enterprises, social facilities, energy and chemical industries, fish farms in Nurata and Karmana districts, as well as in the city of Navoi.
