From March 26 to April 1, 2018, a regular meeting of working groups of the Joint Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan Intergovernmental Commission on issues of delimitation and demarcation of the State border between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan was held in Turkmenabad.

As reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, from March 26 to April 1, 2018, a regular meeting of working groups of the Joint Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan Intergovernmental Commission on issues of delimitation and demarcation of the State border between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan was held in Turkmenabad.

During the meeting, the results of joint field topographic and geodetic activities carried out at some sections of Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan State border were discussed and an agreement was reached to continue them based on the schedule for 2018.

The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Following the negotiations, a Protocol was signed.
