On September 6, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, within the framework of the state visit to the Kyrgyz Republic, received the chairman of the Jokorgu Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Chynybai Tursunbekov at the residence allocated for him.
The President of our country noted that he highly appreciates the contribution of the chairman of the Jokorgu Kenesh to strengthening relations between the parliaments of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
A parliamentary group has been established under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for further strengthening friendly relations between our countries.
The Plan for joint activities on further deepening and expanding cooperation between the border regions for 2017-2019, the Memorandum on Inter-parliamentary Cooperation and other documents signed on September 5 are of great importance for further strengthening cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two states.
The head of our state invited chairman of the Jokorgu Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Chynybai Tursunbekov to visit Uzbekistan for getting familiar with the reforms that are being implemented in our country, strengthening cooperation and exchanging experience.
