Uzbekistan to open a new university
On June 21-27, a delegation of Nanjing Polytechnic Institute visited Tashkent to discuss issues of organizing a branch of this education institution, short-term professional and specialized advanced training courses for Uzbekistan specialists.
Negotiations were held at the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent Professional College of Architecture and Construction, the “Ishga marhamat” monocenter.
This is the second visit of the delegation of the Chinese education institution to Tashkent. In January this year, representatives of the institute visited the Ministry of Innovative Development, the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations, the Uzstandard Agency, and colleges.
Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached on opening a branch of Nanjing Polytechnic Institute in Tashkent.
On June 26, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Nanjing Polytechnic Institute and Tashkent Professional College of Architecture and Construction of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, as well as “Ishga marhamat” monocenter of the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations.
Starting from the new academic year, joint programs are planned to be implemented for in-depth study of the Chinese language for passing professional tests in architecture and design, as well as special preparatory courses for admission to Nanjing Polytechnic Institute. In the future, it is planned to create a full-fledged branch of the education institution with organization of the education process on the system “2+1” and “2+2”.
