The official opening ceremony of Webster University in Tashkent took place On November 1. It was attended by State Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Youth, Science, Education, Health and Sports Abdujabar Abduvakhitov, Chancellor of Webster University Elizabeth Stroble, President of Webster University Julian Schuster, Deputy Chief of Mission in the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent Alan Meltzer, as well as first university students.
The university has well-equipped modern computer and projector rooms. Local and foreign teachers work here, among whom are well-known specialists, writers and journalists.
Today, Webster University presents undergraduate education programs in business administration, economics and media communications, master's degrees include business administration, media communication, and an English teacher training program.
