Japanese delegation consisting of research students and a professor at Nagoya University Miyazaki Tycho visited Uzbekistan.

The guests have become acquainted with Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, large-scale reforms carried out by the government in tourism and conducting researches in specific areas of the countries’ tourism infrastructure.

During the visit, guests visited the National PR Center under the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development, where they were informed about rich tourism potential of the country, including history and culture of Uzbekistan people, modern routes, attractions and gastronomy.

On August 31, in order to conduct joint researches with Uzbekistan students, foreign guests will travel to Samarkand, where they will visit the Silk Road International Tourism University.

Following the visit, several posters will be developed about the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, Japanese students will prepare final work, which will be published in Nagoya University’s collection.
