The Russian delegation, led by the co-chair of the Integrated Commission on Science and Education of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation M. Borovskaya arrived in Uzbekistan.

On September 9, the Russian delegation, led by the co-chair of the Integrated Commission on Science and Education of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation M. Borovskaya arrived in Uzbekistan.

The delegation visited Almalyk branch of the National Research Technological University “MISiS” in the city of Almalyk and became acquainted with the educational and research activities, the conditions for the full leisure of students.

Students and teachers exchanged views with the delegation on improving the effectiveness of the educational process. It was noted that cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation in the field of higher education is expanding.

The delegation is expected to visit the branch of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI in Tashkent.

On September 10, the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Science and Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation with the participation of the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education I. Majidov and the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation M. Borovskaya will take place.
